Museums preserve the best of human civilization, they enrich the
human spirit and are witness to the effort of mankind to improve
its way of life. They tell us that we must respect the past in
order to save the future. Therefore, museums are indicators of
the cultural and sportive level of a city, of a country.
The
Jet Ski association of
Serbia has
finished the work on the first phase of building the memorial
museum „Cesare Vismara SRB#1“ in Beograd, at the adress
Nevesinjska 2 Street, 11000 Belgrade,
Republic of Serbia.
In a
space of 50m2, there are trophies won by the best Serbian and
Italian pilot Cesare Vismara, who has tragically died on
16.10.2009. at 14h and 10min in the runabout open race at the
28th World Finals at Lake Havasu City, Arizona, USA.
Competing for „Team Serbia“, Cesare has promoted the connection
between the serbian and italian people.
Cesare Vismara had submitted an
application for serbian citizenship on 26.08.2009 in
Belgrade,
Republic of Serbia, registered under the number 204 179/09 at
the Ministry of
Interior Affairs, Republic of Serbia.
Posthumously he was
declared world
champion in the runabout open class.
The first phase of
establishing a museum incorporates also the addition of an extra
110m2, where the „Team Serbia“
personal
watercrafts driven in the seasons 2007,2008,2009 at
Lake Havasu City
and at european and national championships will be exhibited.
Additionally a parking location with 8 places for the museum
will be built.
Since this is a big
investment, we are asking all friends, fans and people of good
will to help us, through pool member fees, donations and
sponsorships to finish and open the „Cesare Vismara SRB#1“
museum as soon asw possible.
The pool member fee
for a year is 120 EUR for
Europe and
180$ for the USA and rest of the world, and so you will play an
important part in the building of this unique museum, which is
entirely going to be dedicated to Cesare Vismara
Our goal is to train
children from age 10 to 18 in the safe handling of personal
watercrafts and boats, to work on the education of race
officials and referees in
Eastern Europe,
together with K-38. High safety levels at competitive races will
be our greatest victory, besides the change of rules for races
of the european and world championships.
A tribute to Cesare
Vismara will also be the production of a musical CD with 8 to 10
songs, contributed and sung by artists from Serbia, Italy and
the USA.
The racing team „Cesare
Vismara SRB#1“ will try in 2010 to win a top 3 place as many
times as possible and every medal will be dedicated to our hero
Cesare Vismara.

museum sponsor pool.
Sincerely yours,
Veljko Šukalo
